Well, a bit more information about the future rather than their departures. Here are a couple of extracts from a press statement issued by P&O:
P&O Cruises and Cunard Line today announce a new commercial leadership structure reporting into Gerard Tempest, now six months into his role as chief commercial officer.
Two new marketing director roles have been created, one for P&O Cruises and one for Cunard as well a new insight director position covering both brands. These are in addition to the existing positions of international development director, sales & customer services director and commercial director which serve both brands.
Gerard Tempest said: “This is an exciting time for our brands and this new structure has been designed to deliver the many opportunities ahead of us. As a consequence, and after very careful consideration, the roles of P&O Cruises managing director and Cunard president & managing director will cease to exist and as a result Carol Marlow and Peter Shanks will both be leaving the business at the end of September.”
……
The recruitment of the insight director and the two marketing directors is already at an advanced stage, and a further announcement will be made shortly.
As a result of these changes David Dingle formally assumes the titles of CEO Cunard Line and CEO P&O Cruises.
so po will become more of an american style,at their peril,d’ont mess with a good brand
