Oceana in Hamburg
Oceana arrived in Hamburg during the early part of yesterday evening – the last time I checked, at about 6pm, she was still a a few miles out and then she would have had to do a lot of manoeuvring to get into her berth. But arrive she did.

She’s berthed in one of Blohm + Voss’ dry docks, ‘Elbe 17’. Here’s a link to a page on the Blohm + Voss website showing the locations of their dry docks. Unfortunately this means that she’s not easy to see – last autumn Oriana was in one of the floating docks, either 10 or 11, and it’s easy to find webcams that cover them. But I’ve found one camera that occasionally gets Oceana in Elbe 17. It’s a live video feed, and it pans around so it only occasionally points in the right direction. But here’s the link, anyway – the image I’ve included in this post is a screenshot from that camera. Actually, if you watch it for a few minutes you can get a good overview of the whole Hamburg waterfront.

Update: Here are some more webcam grabs of Oceana taken during the day and into the early evening. (To close the gallery, look for the small ‘x’ in the top left-hand corner of the gallery page after you’ve opened it.)
